The Complete Chardham Yatra is another name given to Bada Char Dham as it covers all four directions of the country, Badrinath Dham in the north, Jagannath Puri Dham in the east, Rameshwaram Dham in the south, and Dwarkadhish Dham in the west. The journey makes one feel a sense of spiritualism and purity by visiting these sacred destinations of Lord Shiva.

Amarnath Yatra is believed to be one of the most difficult pilgrimage journeys in India as it is located at a height of 3,888 metres, in Jammu and Kashmir. Amarnath Cave is only accessible during the Shravan months of July and August and stays covered in snow the rest of the year. Stories say that this place is the same place where Lord Shiva revealed the secret of life and eternity to Devi Parvati. There are two routes for reaching the Amarnath Dham which are via Baltal or Pahalgam. Devotees can visit either by trekking or by helicopter services.

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is considered to be the most sacred pilgrimage among Hindus, also known as the centre of the universe in the Hindu Puranas. The Kailash Range is believed to be formed around 30 million years old during the early stages of the formation of the Himalayas. Kailash is believed to be the holy residence of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati at the highest peak of 6,675 height. The holy mountain is located in Tibet, which is very close to the Indo-China border, near Uttarakhand and Ladakh. The mountain has been attracting pilgrims for centuries from all over the world. Pilgrims use the Lipulekh Pass in Kumaon to reach Mount Kailash. One has to walk 53 km to go around Mount Kailash or can also choose helicopter services.
