Day 1: Welcome to Assam! Arrive in Guwahati
Start your journey in the heart of Northeast India, Assam! Upon arrival in Guwahati, our friendly tour executive will greet you and take you to your hotel. After some rest, visit the Kamakhya Temple, a revered Shaktipeeth, and then take a picturesque sunset boat cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River while enjoying an authentic Assamese Thali Dinner. Spend a comfortable night at your hotel in Guwahati.
Day 2: From Guwahati to Nameri (Approx 209Kms)
After a delicious breakfast, get ready to drive to Nameri, which is around 209 kilometres from Guwahati. On the way, visit Sualkuchi Village, famous for producing some of the best forms of Assamese silk, and the Boro and Miri tribal villages. Cross the Brahmaputra River and check-in at your hotel in Nameri for a restful overnight stay.
Day 3: From Nameri to Ziro (Approx 275Km)
After a hearty breakfast, drive to Ziro, a picturesque UNESCO World Heritage Site in Arunachal Pradesh, via Itanagar. Explore Assam’s tea gardens, Itanagar Monastery, and Museum, and visit the tribal markets in Naharlagun and Tago Village. Discover a Nyishi tribal longhouse, and check-in at your hotel in Ziro to rest for the night.
Day 4: Ziro Tribes & Handicraft Exploration
On the fourth day, immerse yourself in Ziro’s rich culture by visiting the Orchid Research Centre, Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, and discovering the handicraft skills of the Apatani tribe. Spend the night in your comfortable hotel in Ziro.
Day 5: From Ziro to Majuli (Approx 180Kms)
After breakfast, drive to Majuli, the largest riverine island in Asia, and cross the mighty Brahmaputra River by ferry. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and relax for the evening at your leisure. Enjoy the stunning natural beauty and unique local culture of Majuli.
Day 6: Majuli Tribes & Crafts Explore
On the sixth day, explore Majuli’s local culture and discover the handicrafts of the Mishing tribe. Spend the night at your hotel in Majuli.
Day 7: From Majuli to Sibsagar (Approx 84Kms)
After breakfast, drive to Sibsagar, the former capital of the Ahom Kingdom, one of India’s longest-lasting monarchies. Visit the Ahom ruins and check-in at your hotel in Sibsagar to rest for the night.
Day 8: From Sibsagar to Mon (Approx 110Kms)
After breakfast, drive to Mon, the district headquarters of Mon in Nagaland. On the way, visit the Shiv Mandir, Konyak tribal village, and other spots while enjoying the panoramic views along the road. Spend a comfortable night at your hotel in Mon.
Day 9: MON Arts, Crafts & Tribes Exploration
Discover the rich culture and traditions of the Konyak tribe, an indigenous tribe of Nagaland. Explore their arts, crafts, and skills while spending the whole day in Mon. Spend a peaceful night at your hotel in Mon.
Day 10: From Mon to Kaziranga National Park (Approx 270Kms)
After breakfast, start your journey towards the famed Kaziranga National Park in Assam, around 270 kilometres away from Mon. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and rest for the night.
Day 11: Kaziranga National Park Jungle Safari
Day 11 of your trip to Kaziranga National Park promises to be an exciting one, as you embark on an early morning elephant safari to explore the wilds of the park. After the exhilarating ride, you will return to the hotel for a delicious breakfast, followed by a thrilling jeep safari. Lunch will be served at the hotel, and in the afternoon, you can once again experience the adventure of an afternoon safari.
In the evening, you will be treated to a mesmerizing display of traditional folk dances by the Assamese T-Tribe, held at the hotel premises. After a day full of adventure and cultural immersion, you will spend the night at Kaziranga.
Day 12: Kaziranga to Guwahati & Departure
On day 12, the last day of your trip, you will be transferred to Guwahati, located approximately 215 kilometers away from Kaziranga, where you can catch your scheduled train or flight.
