Day 01: Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station – Transfer to Gangtok
- Drive: 120 km / 4 hours
- Altitude: 1,650 m
Begin your journey in Sikkim with a scenic drive from Bagdogra or NJP to the capital city, Gangtok. Check into your hotel and relax. The evening is free to explore or unwind.

Day 02: Gangtok to Lachen
- Drive: 135 km / 6-7 hours
- Altitude: 2,500 m
Post breakfast, head northward through lush valleys, waterfalls, and Himalayan landscapes to reach Lachen—a peaceful village nestled in the mountains. Stroll around to acclimatize.

Day 03: Lachen – Zema – Trek to Tallem
- Drive: 20 minutes to Zema
- Trek: 12 km / 5-6 hours
- Altitude: 3,250 m
From Zema, the real adventure begins. Cross the Zemu Chu (river) and enter dense forests filled with rhododendrons, fallen logs, and boulders. A gradual uphill trek takes you to Tallem.

Day 04: Tallem to Jakthang
- Trek: 12 km / 5-6 hours
- Altitude: 3,430 m
Today’s trail is relatively easier, winding through serene meadows and crossing the Lhonak Chu river. Colorful rhododendrons dominate the trail. Arrive at Jakthang, a picturesque meadow campsite.

Day 05: Jakthang to Yabuk
- Trek: 8 km / 4-5 hours
- Altitude: 4,040 m
Continue along forested trails and bubbling streams until you reach the mouth of the Zemu Glacier. Push through rocky terrains to reach Yabuk, where acclimatization becomes crucial.

Day 06: Yabuk to Rest Camp
- Trek: 8 km / 3-4 hours
- Altitude: 4,725 m
Follow the glacier’s edge westward on a rugged trail of rocks and scree. As you gain height, the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Siniolchu and Mt. Simvo dominate the landscape. Camp opposite the awe-inspiring Mt. Siniolchu.

Day 07: Rest Camp to Green Lake
- Trek: 6 km / 3-4 hours
- Altitude: 5,050 m
This stretch is the most spectacular yet challenging. Traverse moraine-filled terrain to reach Green Lake, a serene meadow surrounded by majestic Himalayan giants like Kangchenjunga, Simvo, and Twin Peaks.

Day 08: Acclimatization & Exploration at Green Lake
Spend the day soaking in the views, clicking photographs, or hiking up nearby ridges for a panoramic view of Zemu Valley and Talung Pass. A perfect day to relax and adjust to the altitude.

Day 09: Green Lake to Yabuk (Return)
- Trek: 14 km / 5-6 hours
- Altitude: 4,040 m
Retrace your steps back to Yabuk through Rest Camp. The descent, though easier, still requires caution on rocky sections.

Day 10: Yabuk – Jakthang – Tallem
- Trek: 20 km / 5-6 hours
- Altitude: 3,250 m
Continue your descent through familiar forests and river crossings to reach Tallem by evening.

Day 11: Tallem – Zema – Drive to Lachen
- Trek: 12 km / 5-6 hours
- Drive: 20 minutes
- Altitude: 2,500 m
Complete the final leg of your trek and drive back to Lachen for a well-deserved rest.

Day 12: Lachen to Gangtok
Drive: 135 km / 6-7 hours
Drive back through the scenic North Sikkim highway to Gangtok. Enjoy your evening at leisure.

Drive: 120 km / 4 hours
Post breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.
