Day 01: Dehradun – Gangotri
Drive: 237 km / 08-09 hrs Altitude: 3,048 m – Gangotri
- Morning meet in Dehradun and drive to Gangotri.
- Drive through many famous hill stations of Garhwal Himalaya Region – Mussoorie, Dhanaulti & Chamba.
- Enjoy the beautiful views en-route and reach Uttarkashi – a holy city situated at bank of river Bhagirathi.
- Continue drive through Harshil along with the river.
- Reach Gangotri by the evening and enjoy the Ganga Aarti.
- Dinner & overnight stay in guest house.
Day 02: Gangotri – Bhojbasa
Trek: 14 km / 06-07 hrs    Altitude: 3,775 m – Bhojbasa
- Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast.
- On this day, start trek from Gangotri to Bhojbasa via Chirbasa.
- The trail passes through a lush forest along the Bhagirathi River.
- One can easily spot majestic Sudarshan Parbat (6,507m) throughout the trek.
- Reach Bhojbasa by the evening and enjoy the perfect sunset on Bhagirathi group of peaks.
- Dinner & overnight stay in tent.
Day 03: Bhojbasa – Gomukh – Tapovan
Trek: 09 km / 05-06 hrs              Altitude: 3,890 m – Gomukh & 4,463 m – Tapovan
- Early morning enjoy the panoramic views for Bhagirathi Group of Peaks.
- After breakfast, start the day by heading up towards Gomukh – the sources of the Ganges.
- Explore the area and continue steep climb up to Tapovan – one of the finest high-altitude meadows below Mt. Shivling.
- The trail from Gomukh to Tapovan takes you through rugged glacial moraines and the stunning Gangotri glacier.
- Reach Tapovan by the evening & have rest.
- Dinner & overnight stay in tent.
Day 04: Tapovan: Rest & Acclimatize
- The day free for acclimatize & relax.
- The panoramic view from the Tapovan campsite are always breathtaking.
- Shivling (6,543m) to the right and Meru (6,660m) to the right of Shivling.
- A little behind on the left side of Shivling is Sumeru (6,350m).
- Bhagirathi Peaks – I, II, III (6,856m) and Sudarshan Parbat (6,507m) to the left.
- One can visit Meru Glacier and return to campsite.
- Dinner & overnight stay in tent.
Day 05: Tapovan – Bhojbasa
Trek: 09 km / 04 hrs                   Altitude: 3,775 m – Bhojbasa
- Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise on high peaks.
- After breakfast trek dwon to Bhojbhasa.
- Evening free for leisure.
- Dinner & overnight stay in tent.
Day 06: Bhojbasa – Gangotri
Trek: 14 km / 04-05 hrs    Altitude: 3,048 m – Gangotri
- Today after breakfast, head back to Gangotri.
- Gradually descend and quite smooth trek.
- Dinner & overnight stay in guest house.
Day 07: Gangotri – Dehradun
Drive: 237 km / 08-09 hrs
- Today after breakfast, drive back to Dehradun.
- Drop at Dehradun railway station for your journey back home.
