The Indian government has planned to resume the International Flight services from March 27. 2022. The aviation ministry got the approval from the ministry of health to start regular International Flights for Indian as well as foreign tourists. The flights will adhere strictly to Ministry of Health guidelines for International Travel.
Due to the omicron variant of Covid, the government had canceled the International Flight operations which was scheduled from December 15 onwards. Now that the vaccination coverage has been increased across the globe and in consultation with the stakeholders, The Indian government has decided to start commercial International passenger services to/from India from March 27, 2022 according to the order of government.
From the end of March tourists will be able to enjoy amazing international tours from India and abroad as the International Flight operations will be started to boost the Inbound and Outbound tourism sector.
