If you’re planning to embark on the Chardham Yatra, registering is now easier than ever.

• Step 1: Visit the Department of Tourism’s official website for Char Dham Yatra registration – www.registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in
• Step 2: Upload all required identification and address documents along with a valid mobile number.
• Step 3: Alternatively, register by typing “yatra” on the WhatsApp number (91-8394833833) provided or by using the toll-free numbers for phone registration.
• Step 4: For added convenience, download the mobile app released by the department to register.
• Step 5: Don’t forget to register your vehicle at greencard.uk.gov.in before the journey. Note that the Vehicle Location Tracking System (VLTS) is mandatory for commercial vehicles and should be installed in all vehicles.
